Coliving in Polanco, Mexico City: Options and What to Expect

NOMADA · 2 min read

Polanco has little coliving and high rents. Here's what exists, what it costs, and when Roma, Condesa or Nápoles makes more sense.

Polanco has very little coliving. The main option is Covive's Newton house, with 12 rooms at 17,050 MXN a month. Most remote workers who want Polanco's calm end up either in a serviced apartment there, or in coliving in Nápoles, Narvarte or Condesa instead. Rents are the highest of the central neighborhoods, at about $1,900–$2,800 USD for a furnished one-bedroom.

What Polanco is like

Polanco is Mexico City's upscale, corporate neighborhood: quiet streets, embassies, luxury retail on Presidente Masaryk, Chapultepec park on the doorstep, and the most visible security presence in the city. It's calm and safe, and it's the least spontaneous place on this list. Nights are quiet, which is either the appeal or the reason to look at Roma Norte instead.

The coliving option

Price as published by Covive, checked September 2026.

Covive Newton is the most expensive of Covive's four houses, which is what you'd expect in Polanco. It's a standard coliving house: private rooms, shared kitchen, terraces, coworking area and community events.

The nearby alternatives

  • HIVE Nápoles (Nápoles): hotel-style furnished suites with a pool, gym, rooftop and 24/7 security, near the World Trade Center. Similar calm, lower prices.
  • Niu Coliving (Narvarte/Roma Sur): a purpose-built tower with coworking, gym and rooftop, at $800–$1,200 USD a month.
  • Covive Amatlán (Condesa): the same operator, a greener neighborhood, at 15,250 MXN a month. See coliving in Condesa.

Working in Polanco

Polanco is the premium end for coworking: WeWork, The Pool and Regus all have locations, with day passes around 500 MXN and monthly desks from about 3,400 MXN. It's the right base if you have client meetings in corporate offices, and an expensive one if you don't. See coworking prices by neighborhood.

Who Polanco suits

  • Good fit: corporate stays, company housing budgets, families, anyone who wants quiet and green space.
  • Poor fit: anyone on a budget, anyone who wants walkable nightlife, and anyone who wants a big coliving community. The supply simply isn't here.
