Is There a Zillow for Mexico? Where to Find Property Listings
NOMADA · 3 min read

Zillow doesn't operate in Mexico. Inmuebles24, Propiedades.com, Vivanuncios and Lamudi do, and they work differently. Here's how to search, and what the listings don't tell you.
There's no Zillow in Mexico. The closest equivalent is Inmuebles24, the country's largest property portal, followed by Propiedades.com, Vivanuncios and Lamudi. None of them has Zillow's estimated values or sales history, so you'll do more of the work yourself.

The portals people actually use
| Portal | Scale | Known for |
|---|---|---|
| Inmuebles24 | About 6.2M visits a month, the clear leader | The biggest inventory nationally |
| Propiedades.com | About 2.4M visits a month | Price valuation tools |
| Vivanuncios | About 1.2M visits in March 2026 | General classifieds, strong in Mexico City |
| Lamudi | Over 1M visits a month | Developer and new-build listings |

International sites such as Point2Homes and Properstar also list Mexican property in English, mostly at the higher end and in expat destinations.
What's different from Zillow
- No automated valuations you can trust. There's no Zestimate equivalent with real coverage. Price discovery comes from comparing listings and asking agents.
- No public sales history. Transaction prices aren't published the way they are in the US or UK, and the registered price is sometimes lower than the real one.
- The same property, several times. Agents don't work from one shared listing system, so one apartment can appear on several portals at different prices. Exclusive listings are rare.
- Prices in two currencies. Listings appear in pesos and dollars, sometimes on the same page.
- Photos flatter. Buildings in Roma, Condesa and the Centro are often old. What isn't photographed is usually the reason.
How to search properly
- Start on Inmuebles24 for coverage, then check Propiedades.com for the same area.
- Search by colonia, not by city. Roma Norte, Condesa, Juárez and Narvarte are the units that matter.
- Filter for amueblado if you want furnished, which is what most foreigners need.
- Use a local agent for buying. They see off-market stock, and the seller usually pays the commission.
- Check the same street on foot. Traffic, noise and the walk to the metro don't show up in any listing.
- Verify everything at the notary stage. Portal listings are marketing, not title. See buying property in Mexico City as a foreigner.
If you're renting instead
For a furnished monthly rental, the portals are less useful than Airbnb, coliving operators and local Facebook groups, and long leases usually want a Mexican guarantor. The comparison is in coliving vs Airbnb vs a furnished apartment, and the options are listed in coliving in Mexico City.
Where NOMADA fits
We're building NOMADA, so read this section knowing we have an interest. If you're searching these portals because you want to spend a few months a year in Mexico City, it's worth asking whether you want an apartment or the nights in one. Our model gives investors an ownership interest plus a set number of nights each year, without the search, the notary, the manager or the taxes. If you want to own a specific apartment on a specific street, the portals above are where to start.
